JAKARTA – The Embassy of Ireland in Indonesia and ISA Art and Design present the fifth edition of the Ireland’s Eye exhibition in Jakarta. Curator Mark Joyce brings this prestigious showcase to the WTC 2 lobby in Setiabudi. Senior artist Tony O’Malley showcases abstract paintings that utilize graphic techniques from Graphic Studio Dublin. Filmmaker Charlie Dineen captures the mythological Paps of Anú through a surreal analog film. His work reveals ancient Celtic traditions tied to the fertility goddess, Anu. Clíona Doyle contributes botanical etchings that celebrate native Irish flora like hawthorn and wild orchids. Finally, Robert Russell presents atmospheric prints of iconic locations like Dublin’s Phoenix Park, transforming physical landscapes into poetic visual literature.
