Portura Drops Debut EP FRAMES: Five Musicians Unite

Portura releases debut EP FRAMES. Discover how five Indonesian musicians united under Lintas Resonan to create an authentic alternative rock record.

JAKARTA – Since their debut last year, Portura has captured the attention of Indonesian music listeners. Listeners already knew the five members through their individual projects. Consequently, their emergence as a single group sparked curiosity about the music they would create together.

Originally, the musicians formed Portura as a short-term project for live performances. However, strong chemistry grew among the members during this process and opened a clear opportunity to continue their collaboration as a full musical band. Subsequently, they began writing their own songs and exploring new musical ideas without following the style of their individual projects.

Lintas Resonan Backs Portura’s Official Release

Lintas Resonan supported the group’s early journey and initiated their musical connection at the end of 2025. Furthermore, Lintas Resonan acted as the executive producer for the official release of FRAMES. This mini-album showcases Portura’s artistic growth after the band introduced themselves through their single Ye Ye Ye last September.

Portura released the mini-album FRAMES across various digital streaming platforms on October 9, 2026. Additionally, the band uploaded lyric videos for all tracks—including Ye Ye Ye, Deru, and L’existence—to their official YouTube channel, where music fans can watch them.

Creative Freedom Shapes the Alternative Rock Experience

This distinct creative process gives all five members a great chance to explore many possibilities within alternative rock music. In fact, the band members do not tie themselves to a big overarching concept for the whole album. Instead, their creative work strictly follows the real material and emotions that they want to put into their songs.

Band member Enrico Octaviano explained that the song writing process for FRAMES does not depend on specific market trends. Rather, the members choose to create things that they truly want to make and feel. According to him, the main connection of this album lies in their courage to explore music and share an honest message.

The songs in FRAMES draw stories from the things that the members meet in daily life. These stories range from social problems and local anxieties to personal efforts to survive tough situations. Ultimately, each member shapes every track using their personal experiences and viewpoints, without forcing one single story to connect the whole album.

Band Members and Production Credits

Finally, Portura unites five prominent Indonesian musicians, including Iga Massardi from Barasuara, Fathia Izzati from Reality Club, John Paul Patton from Kelompok Penerbang Roket, Enrico Octaviano from Lomba Sihir, and solo singer Bilal Indrajaya.

Beyond the five members, the band collaborated with a skilled technical team to complete the album’s production. Specifically, sound engineer Rama Harto handled the audio mixing at RekamKamar Studio. Meanwhile, audio engineer Dimas Pradipta completed the mastering process at Sum It! Studio.
