JAKARTA – Indonesian Diva Kris Dayanti (KD) returns to the music world with a fresh masterpiece for her loyal listeners. She recently released a mini album (EP) titled Love, Kris Dayanti. This album focuses entirely on the theme of love. Kris Dayanti wants every song to feel like a warm hug for the audience, she brings honest feelings and vulnerability through five beautiful tracks.
A Mature Path Through Music
Furthermore, the album highlights a significant change in perspective regarding romance. KD sings about an emotional journey that feels more mature than her previous works. She explores the various stages of love through five specific songs. For instance, the track I Love You describes the initial feelings at the start of a relationship. In contrast, Breathless captures intense moments where love leaves a person speechless. These songs successfully represent the natural phases of human connection.
The journey continues with Never Let You Down, which focuses on mature love and the choice to stay strong together. Afterward, On the Way Up explores the simple joy of being with a partner. Finally, the EP ends with a reflective track titled Merasa Cinta. KD participated directly in writing the lyrics for this final song. Therefore, the track feels very personal and authentic. In addition to singing, she also took the role of executive producer for the entire project.
KD creates a modern pop atmosphere throughout the EP. She shows a more open and authentic side of herself in this collection.
